Zero Tillage, Intensive Grazing and Multi-Species Cropping

“To investigate using compost tea, fish fertilizer and an organic liquid fertilizer to improve soil health and increase crop yield and quality. To assess the benefit of using different organic nutrient sources in improving a healthy food source that stimulates microorganisms that exist in the soil. To examine the cost-benefit analysis of products used.”

The Witzaney’s held an open house farm event on June 10, 2017. Visitors were invited to tour their grain facility, enjoy wagon rides, and meet their animals. Lots of young families visited the farm and learned about the Witzaney’s organic approach to growing and learning to work with nature, rather than master it.
