Alberta Organic Producers Association
AOPA is a non-profit offering organic certification as well as mentorship, workshops, field days, newsletters and opportunities to be involved in the organic food industry from production to consumer.

Canadian Organic Growers
COG is Canada’s national organic charity and is a champion for the organic stewardship of land, foo and fibre. COG publishes handbooks on organic growing and livestock production and The Canadian Organic Grower magazine. We host trainings and conferences, work with schools, and educate all Canadians about the benefits of organics.

Canadian Organic Trade Association
COTA specializes and is involved in all regulatory and policy aspects of the Canadian Organic Sector. Membership benefits include technical assistance, discounts on trade events, financial support for
export marketing, and exclusive member newsletters and industry reports on important issues affecting our sector.

Certified Organic Associations of BC
COABC is an umbrella association representing organic certifying agencies in the province. COABC is empowered by the British Columbia
Organic Agricultural Products Regulation under the British Columbia Food Choice and Disclosure Act to implement an organic certification accreditation province-wide.

Manitoba Organic Alliance
The MOA promotes the interests of the organic sector, addresses issues of importance to the organic sector, and helps to create growth opportunities by promoting the benefits, integrity and development of the organic supply chain. Organic Alberta
Organic Alberta is a membership driven nonprofit association. Organic Federation of Canada

SaskOrganic is a non-profit, membership-based, umbrella organization that unites the province’s producers, processors, buyers, traders, certifiers and consumers of certified organic food and fibre. Our mission is to champion the development of organic agriculture in a democratic manner.

University of Manitoba
Dr. Martin Entz and his research group in the Department of Plant Science in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Manitoba have put together the Natural Systems Agriculture website. Martin works on sustainable agricultural systems together with fellow researchers, students, technicians, farmers, and interested citizens. Some team members are based at the University of Manitoba, while others are located elsewhere.
